Regarding Handling Instructions

  • Important Guidelines to Ensure Your Safety
    1. Do not reuse golf shafts.
    2. Do not reuse shafts that have already been installed on a golf club. Removing a shaft may weaken its structural integrity, potentially compromising the safety and performance confirmed during design and manufacturing, and could lead to breakage or other issues.
    3. Any damages resulting from reused shafts should be the responsibility of the person or entity that sold or assembled the reused shaft. Additionally, if you knowingly purchase a reused shaft, we cannot guarantee its quality or safety.
    4. Do not modify the shaft.
    5. Modifying a shaft may compromise the safety and performance confirmed during design and manufacturing, potentially leading to breakage or other accidents. In such cases, we cannot be held responsible for manufacturing defects.
    6. Do not use the shaft for any purpose other than as a golf club component.
    7. Shafts are designed and manufactured exclusively for use in golf clubs. Do not use them for other purposes.
    8. Always inspect the shaft for any abnormalities before use.
    9. If you notice any cracks, scratches, discoloration, or damage to the shaft, stop using it immediately and have it inspected for safety by a retailer. Even small cracks or scratches may grow over time with repeated shots, potentially leading to breakage.
  • Precautions for Your Safety and the Safety of Those Around You
    1. Before swinging a club, ensure that there are no people or obstacles nearby. Hitting someone with the shaft or head during a swing is extremely dangerous. If the shaft strikes an obstacle, it may break. Take extra caution when using clubs with longer shafts.
    2. Do not apply excessive force or twist the shaft when checking its flex or stiffness. If excessive force causes cracks or scratches, stop using the shaft immediately, as it may result in breakage. Have a retailer inspect the shaft for safety before continued use.
    3. If you hit the ground hard during play, inspect the shaft and the connection with the head for any abnormalities. If you see cracks, scratches, discoloration, or damage, stop using the club and have it checked by a retailer.
    4. Do not throw, slam, kick, or step on your clubs.
    5. Do not place heavy objects on top of the clubs.
    6. When inserting or removing clubs from a golf bag, do so straight to avoid scratching the shaft on bag dividers. Use a golf bag that matches the length of your shafts.
    7. To avoid damaging the shaft, use long headcovers that prevent direct contact between iron heads and the shaft inside the bag.
  • Handling Instructions in Case of Shaft Breakage
    1. If the shaft breaks, be extremely careful to avoid injury. Never touch the broken section or exposed carbon fibers, as they can easily puncture the skin.
    2. Handle fragments of the broken shaft with the same caution. The sharp ends can easily tear through plastic bags or other materials.
    3. When transporting the shaft, hold only the unbroken portion and ensure the broken end does not come into contact with others.
  • Precautions for Handling Bare Shafts
    1. Do not excessively cut or grind the tip of the shaft, as this can reduce its strength.
    2. Handle shafts carefully to avoid scratches or other damage.
    3. Avoid exposing the shaft to excessive heat or cold, which can degrade its material. Do not heat shafts above 80°C (176°F) or cool them below -20°C (-4°F).
    4. Do not remove the product number label, which includes serial and manufacturing information.
    5. Products missing the above label or the security label are not covered under warranty and may not be eligible for support or may take longer to process inquiries.
  • Precautions Regarding Shaft Installation
    1. Have your shaft installed by the retailer where it was purchased.
    2. Have your grip replaced by the same retailer.
    3. If you do not possess the correct knowledge and skills for proper shaft installation, do not attempt to install it yourself. We cannot take responsibility for any accidents caused by improper installation or handling.
  • Other Precautions
    1. Carbon shafts conduct electricity. Be careful to avoid electric shock or lightning strikes when in contact with power lines or during storms.
  • Storage Instructions
    1. Do not store clubs in hot or humid environments, as this can weaken the shaft.
    2. Do not leave clubs in vehicles exposed to direct sunlight for long periods.
    3. After use, wipe the shaft clean with a soft cloth to remove moisture or dirt. Do not use solvents, oils, waxes, or cleaners, as they may cause discoloration.
    4. Keep shafts and clubs out of the reach of children.
  • Disposal Instructions
    1. Dispose of used Mitsubishi Chemical shafts according to local regulations.
    2. For waste classification, consult your local municipal office.
